Well well well.... So finally I'm in a new city all by myself. And the adventure began in Delhi itself. Indian Railways was the first one to give me a shocker by not confirming my ticket. Bitches!! I had a AC ticket but had to travel all the way in the sleeper coach. God bless that guy who let me share his seat. He kept sleeping all the time and I had to adjust in whatever space was available but whatever I atleast got space to sit and keep my luggage. God bless him, I don't know if I would have let someone sit on my seat like that but I sure will from now on. The train was so crowded with lots of people like me in it. lol. Ticket but no reservation is what I mean.
So I got to this new city.
Here is a free universal fact: Autowale har jagah ke equally kamine hote hai!!! They can go fucking take a hike!!
But whatever I finally reach my new room, mind you, MY, my being the important word. hahahahaha. Ok i open the door and enter and blast of dust comes on my face. It was like opening a haunted mansion after centuries. Lots of leftover stuff from people who used to live there before, cigarette buds, liquor bottles, match sticks and a hukka lying on the floor. The floor so muddy and sticky, you would puke if you touch it with your hands.
New flatmate:
New flatmate is a really nice fellow. A senior from the same college I am from. He has done masters from there and had been in Libya until political unrest there forced him to come back to the city and finally end up in Indore. Bad luck really. He seems like a sweet, conservative Indian fellow. Thanks man you let me use your bathroom. And thanks for taking me out for dinner. It would have been hard without you to arrange all the stuff.
Between I made my utterly dusty and dingy room into a much habitable room into a reasonably livable place. (Pics will be uploaded soon)
Prince (ex-room owner) had put up these super cool lights in the room. One is a green color light which gives this super cool doped atmosphere and the other one is a bulb + red light effect again a super romantic/ colonial look. He also had a round glass bowl, I haven't found a suitable use for it but it looks super cool. (I'm thinking of buying fishes, lets see). And a very strange looking tribal man statue. And there is a amazing banner of Che Guevera which he used to use as table cover. I mean how could you???? I have kept that for washing will do that asap and revive its glory.
Food:
I don't if its with me or its with the new place I am hungry all the time and no amount of food is sufficient for me. I had something called 'Dal Bhafle Ladoo' for lunch yesterday. It was okayish but a different experience. Overpriced though. The new flatmate took me out for dinner to 'Udupi King', a small south Indian joint which doesn't know how a Mysore Masala Dosa tastes. Losers! And it was so tiny I was hungry throughout. Then we went to a place there were rolls. I had a single chicken single egg roll. It was okayish but trust me on this one till now Delhi has way way better food and options. :D
Had 3 rotis from flatmates lunch today afternoon I was in such hunger that I could have taken all his food but I stood up and went downstairs to buy some more food myself. Went to the same rolls' place and had Chowmein this time (sucked!!).
Office:
Office is pretty close the house, just 5 minutes walk. Office is nice like the usual private firms with cabins and cubicles and lousy people sitting in front of their desktops and doing their stuff. Occasionally opening facebook and then retaliating the moment the see that someone is looking at them. lol. But they don't realize that people who are looking at them also are waiting to do the same. (like me) Till now there are a 3 ladies and 2 gents in the section I am sitting.
Flatmate: Keenly looking at the computer and doing some stuff.
Lady 1: Working/ facebook/ youtube/ thesis
Lady 2: Working/ Serious types/ facebooking/ Searching for alternate jobs
Lady 3: Can't see what she is upto but she is very restless
The other guy: Seems to super mehenati, can't see him, constantly sitting on his chair and doing something.
Overall 2 days have been pretty okayish. Boss was absent today so not much work.
Waiting for my life to get screwed when he comes back. lol.
Till then bois!
