Indore Journal 12 - Extended Weekend

Well! For the first time since I have come here, 2 good days back to back!! What a rarity!! For all the adventure savvy life I wanted, it all goes to drain after this trip. I am so not in for the office kinda adventure anymore. Going to office sucks and especially so if it is 6 days and even more so if (well later), I have a certificate to collect from here later. *rolling eyes*

After super sucky Saturday when the software managed to wipe the smile off my face all day long and make me feel disgusted and miserable and sick with life for the rest of the day, I finally woke up to a Sunday when there was electricity. I had almost taken it for granted that there won't be any electricity on Sundays. I don't understand what is wrong with the electricity department people over here. Don't the bloody have a life. Like how can you do this to people. Sunday morning sleep is the most pristine form of sleep ever. I never remember my childhood days when I ever woke up before noon ever. Aaahhh! How I miss my bed!! I slowly dragged myself out of the bed at 12 30 and was think where to go that day.

Finally decided to check out the zoo and museum over here. A good city always has a good zoo and a good museum. It shows how they value there natural and cultural heritage. And the amount of people visiting there tells us how much people like those things. For a mall crazy city I was surprised to see so many people visiting the zoo. I stood in the line to take the ticket. Like in all the places, I don't know why people keep clobbering into the ticket counter and try to evade the queue. Why don't they understand that everyone would get it faster and easily if you just be patient for sometime instead of bashing in. Baaki piche jo line me khade hai wo chutiye hai kya? As soon as I reached the counter this dude comes in a puts in his hand into the tiny hole in the ticket counter, I took his hand and pushed it even further inside and said 'inko jyada jaldi hai, inko pehle dijiye', the ticket counter guy shoooed him away. It was hilarious. I got the ticket first. :D As I walked out that guy had also got a ticket and was showing me his ugly angry eyes, I gave a stare back at him. I felt like saying 'Size dekh ke baat kar le, ek chaante me gir jayega.' He was this patla danda sa guy even Olive (The Popoye Show) would be fatter than him. I kept bumping into him and I kept delivering him an evil look. I am so glad that I didn't have to encounter that jackass otherwise all the office frustration would have been taken out on him. But how do I care.

My endless love for zoo continues. It was amazing. The elephants, 3 types of tigers - The Pahari Tiger, The Royal Bengal Tiger and The White Tiger, crocodiles and alligators, different kinds of birds, etc. etc. It was just amazing. :D The elephant was dancing (mastana haathi jhoom raha tha), it was as if the the elephant was drunk and was going right and left in rhythmic fashion. It was really funny and amusing to see that. Out of the 3 types of tigers only the white tigers were active. They were in such playful mood, jumping around and posing for the shutterbugs, it was an absolute delight. Saare paise wasool ho gaye. :D The crocodiles had given birth to some 8 baby crocs. I was scared to see them lay so still, like they can pounce any time. I just love to go to the zoo, the child inside me jumps out and makes me all bubbly when I go to the zoo. Surprisingly the zoo here was good especially because of the crocodiles, alligators and 3 types of tiger. You don't find all of it at the same place at the other places. We were quite late to go to the museum so we headed back home. I came back and slept. By the time I woke up flatmate and sunday dinner mate had come and had started cooking. They made awesome Tomato rice. Being the youngest helps you in these ways as I had to do nothing, just did the dishes at the end out of moral responsibility. :D They cook amazingly well. Especially my flatmate he does all the tomato stuff so very well and he is a pro at knowledge about all food related things. :D

Saw Love, Sex aur Dhokha later. Very hatke movie I must see. I liked it. A good day had come to end and a bad feeling about the next day had crawled in by the time. Sleep. Sleep is the best medicine when you are feeling low.

I woke up reluctantly the next morning and went to office and finally finished up with the map thing somehow. God bless the new entrant in the office who seems to be bit of a techie who helped out with the map thing. Then I decided not to work any more that day (it was like a rebellion that I am not working, I don't want to work anymore). I spoke to people I love (I mean I chatted), I texted everyone what's up and was just replying to them. I addressed them as lucky Delhi people. So everyone was replying why are Delhi people lucky. But mind you, you are lucky to be there, it is THE BEST! I totally realize it now. I left half an hour earlier and went to this mall called Central as I had heard really high of it. It was grand but nothing quite like Emporio or Promenade. People are crazy about malls here! A working day and the mall was still full. While walking upto the mall I saw this tree which was full of parrots. I wasn't a single leaf on the tree but the tree was still shining green. That many parrots and more parrots flying in. It was an amazing sight. I have never seen that many parrots ever. I went to this small shop in the mall to have patties. I couldn't believe that these people even garnish patties with sev. People here are mad over sev man!!
I went back home wondering how can I have two days on the trot without feeling much miserable about life.
